Megan's Story

Our niece Megan loves her new cousin Maddie. She's a girl, her birthday is in December just like Megan's and both their names start with M. Recently Megan's mom shared a story Megan had wrote soon after Maddie was born.

CHAPTER 1

My Aunt Jennie was having a baby and she had it the day before New Years Eve. It is a girl. Her middle name and first name are pretty. Her name is Madalyn Reese Winter. She was an early born. She was suppose to be born in February. I think she was born really early. I said her Godfather should be Jerry because he buys really good gifts!! Last year he bought my brother a guitar hero. He really wanted it. And this year he guitar hero world tour band kit. It came with guitar drums and a microphone.

Madalyn was the second December birthday in our whole entire family. She was my Aunt Jennie's first baby girl. Grandma send us a picture of her when she was born. She has a strange thing tied to her mouth and to her stomach. And there was not much to her legs.

CHAPTER 2

My brother had surgery on his lymph node. It wasn't his lymph node though. And Joey's friend Rushad has a Dad and a Mom who are Doctors. Joey thought he had a bump in his shoulder since July. But it was really a sports mark. And he got cut open and he looks hideous! Not because he has a big bandage on, because he had to take medicine that made him asleep and he gets tired alot and he looks hideous because he gets tired alot. And back to Madalyn. I can't wait to see Madalyn in the hospital. Or you can just call her Maddie. Maddie has more hair than I had when I was 2. That's pretty good for an early born. And she weighs more than me when I was born. That is still pretty good for an early born. She was born at 1:00 in the afternoon. And I got to sleep at my cousin's Josh's house while my brother had his surgery. His surgery was 8:30 in the morning. And I cannot wait for Madalyn to grow up so I can see if she doesn't whine alot like Aidan and I really hope she's a better talker than Aidan.

The End
